Position Summary

As a "Sales Controller & BU Controlling Specialist", you will act as a trusted Controller to the Sales- & Business Unit (BU) teams by providing insight and strongly supporting a fact-based decision-making process, based on current business environment & specialist financial knowledge and by challenging new strategies as well as the status quo.

A Day in the Life of a Sales Controller & BU Controlling Specialist

• Participate to the customer and channel strategy development process and ensure the commercial and business plans are executed in line with the strategy
• Coordinate and support the forecast of GPS/TTS/NNS and P/L lines under own responsibility to ensure the execution of the Monthly Business Planning process and provide transparent and sounded Dynamic Forecasts to drive the business performance
• Contribute to the Scenario Planning within Monthly Business Planning and the resulting Dynamic Forecast preparation
• Contribute to the Performance Management of the business with timely and robust business analysis & reporting
• Optimize trade spend investments by providing meaningful and timely analysis and dashboards, as well as ensuring that pre- and post-promotion performance analysis are completed
• Provide reconciliations between P&L, Trade Reports and Balance sheet
• Support the optimization of the product portfolio and the business Innovation & Renovation process
• Contribute to an efficient resource allocation process
• Support the new business initiatives from a financial perspective
• Ensure rock solid accounting, as well as timeliness of PEC activities & reporting
• Act as Custodian of internal controls

What will make you successful

• Degree in Business / Finance
• 5 years' experience on the Finance / Controlling function
• Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience as strong asset
• Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)
• Proficiency in French and English, German is a plus
