Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building and Partnership Development:
- Build and maintain existing and new relationships with feedstock providers and related ecosystem partners and stakeholders
- Develop and execute agreements with key partners across the feedstock sourcing value chains
- Ensure a continuous and robust supply chain for operations as we scale the DePoly technology on a global level
Feedstock Procurement:
- Lead the development of the sourcing strategy by acting as the key feedstock manager between production, technology and business
- Lead and manage logistics and warehousing related to feedstock procurement
- Establish and lead the on-the-ground sourcing operations to manage the scale-up and handling of supply over time
- Develop a deep understanding of the logistical and regulatory environment within strategic locations and regions.
- Potential to develop into and manage a growing feedstock team with expansion
Proactive Portfolio Management and Team Player:
- Develop strong tracking and measurement tools for feedstock procurement and communicate progress effectively with senior leadership
- Analyse and develop global insights into feedstock market trends as we scale, and work closely with the business team to constantly evaluate new opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to build new partnerships, execute contracts and develop the overall feedstock strategy
- Comfortable operating with uncertainties while devising smart solutions in an ambiguous environment
Qualifications and Role Requirements
- Level of education & knowledge:
– University degree, preferably in science and/or business
– Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Experience in general:
– At least 3 years of experience in the chemical or waste management industry, or equivalent and related experience
– Competence and vision to enable the negotiation of complex, long-term contracts to ensure optimum business results
– Experience and competence to understand dynamic market environments Knowledge of the plastic recovery and waste industry a plus
– Strong communication, dealmaking and negotiating skills
- Technical skills:
– Profound understanding of economics, risk analysis, business models, chemical value chains and their interdependencies
– Solid understanding of contract law and legal frameworks.
- Language Skills: Proficient in professional English (both oral and written) and preferably fluent in an additional European language
- Travel: Willingness to travel globally
