Marketing Specialist

Role :

The role holder will work closely with the HME-CH Country Manager – Power Products and in collaboration with Marketing Management Team of Honda PP French branch and is responsible for the constant reinforcement of the Honda brand in Switzerland thanks efficient Advertising and PR activities.

The Marketing Specialist is in charge of ensuring a permanent contact with partner agencies, while driving relevant communication channels through an inclusive approach with dealer network and press to achieve KPI’s to contribute to the business expansion.

 

Main Responsibilities :

Marketing operations

  • Implement and monitor the HME and HME-FR and HME CH joined marketing strategy in line with the business plan. Participate to EU meetings and roll-out EU directives.
  • Ensure the smooth running of marketing campaigns and track their effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and adapt international or local advertising, promotional and communication campaigns (launches and products), through print and digital media.
  • Ensure coordination and constant contact between various partner agencies or service providers and optimize their effectiveness for our national market.
  • Coordinate and participate to internal and department discussion to improve communication efficiency.

Marketing support

  • Analyse the Swiss market and summarise trends, key figures and competitors activities
  • Follow the global and local marketing and communication budgets
  • Monitor sell in and sell out activities vs campaign targets
  • Provide support to promote the company’s brand, through company’s website, social media profiles and other marketing channels.
  • Execute strategies to generate leads, including creating and promoting content, networking and attending events.
  • Keep focus on network and customers satisfaction through regular running of surveys.
  • Support dealer network in communication
  • Optimize media planning and analyse ROI of events/activities through PDCA process.

Public Relations

  • In collaboration with Sales Managers, organisation and coordination of PR, national exhibitions and support to local exhibitions of our Dealers network.
  • Organisation and coordination of Honda Suisse PP Events (Dealers Meetings)
  • Participation in launch activities and various actions to animate the press.
  • Plan settings, ownership of activation methods. Early-stage management approval
  • Track performance of public relations and media efforts

 

Qualifications, skills and experience required :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Balanced portfolio of abilities from operation management to hands-on activities
  • Results-oriented, problem-solving, comfortable balancing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of processes and information-flow.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced context.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure accurate and efficient task completion.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and visualization tools to identify trends and data correlation.
  • Ability to travel as needed to attend conferences and customers events if necessary.

Tools : Outlook – Teams – Pack office – Adobe – Marketing automation, CRM.

Languages : Fluent in French / German/ English language/ Italian is an asset.
