JOB PURPOSE

 

To manage the end-to-end payroll and to ensure that salary payments are processed

accurately. To work closely with the other members of the HR team and liaise with the

Finance team for the accounting of salaries.

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Update internal payroll databases and lists to maintain accurate data

  • Collect, check and process claim forms for variable pay and benefits

  • Process monthly payroll within deadlines

  • Coordinate salaries payments and bank transfers

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies

  • Handle tax at source calculations, tax withholdings and payment of tax invoices

  • Process pension adjustments, monitor salary changes and establish lists as needed

  • Manage and reconcile all social charges and tax at source accounts

  • Produce lists, statements related to AVS, accident and sickness insurance, family allowances as well as annual salary certificates

  • Update and improve payroll processes resulting from changes in legislation, internal regulations and guidelines

  • Carry out audit preparations as required 

  • Answer questions and provide summaries of earnings, deductions and financial reports as requested by the Associate Director of Human Resources

  • Ensure salaries, benefits and tax withholdings comply with regulations

OTHER TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist the Associate Director of Human Resources with other ongoing HR work as and when requested

  • Handle sensitive information and personal details with absolute discretion

  • Commit to ongoing professional development and carry out the necessary internal trainings (iSAMS, google drive)

  • Undertake any other task which may be reasonably required by the Associate Director of HR to assist in the smooth running of the HR Department

  • Understand and implement all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding children and young people

  • Understand the School’s Guiding Principles and uphold the ethos of the School at all times

OTHER

 

  • The role can offer flexible working hours, which must nevertheless be compatible with payroll preparation schedule
